Ozarks Heritage Foundation is dedicated to teaching, learning, and keeping alive the culture, history, customs, and values of the Ozarks. Ozark writers, musicians, folklorists, and artisans serve on our board and as teachers for our programs. Several presenters have been highly recognized for their accomplishments.

We presented our first course in 1999 and we are very active in expanding our offerings. Our most recent addition has been the e-commerce site found at www.ozarks-emporium.com. Several of our programs are as a vendor for Road Scholar, Inc., (www.roadscholar.org) not-for-profit organization with 30 years of experience providing high-quality, affordable, educational adventures for adults who are 55 and older.

Our programs and offerings are a fun and exciting way to share new ideas, explore the Ozarks and make new friends. Learning takes place for the sheer joy of it - there are no tests or assignments. The success of the programs is based on the simple fact that learning is a lifelong process that is rewarding at every age.
